Today diets and weight maintenance programs don’t have to be as strict or as difficult as they were before, especially when we refer to these problems.Postures play an important role while exercising for double chin exercises. Right body posture while sitting or standing will help you to strengthen your throat muscles and gradually the muscles near the chin area will become strong and taut. So, sitting and standing in the right position will help you to strengthen your chin muscles resulting into fat burn.Open your mouth as far as possible and stick your tongue out. Hold that position for a count of ten and then relax. Do this exercise up to ten times per day. While it may look silly, and you may feel silly, it really helps to strengthen your platysma muscle.This exercise can be performed at any time. Keep your head steady and straight. Pull out your tongue as far as you can. Hold the position for ten seconds to start with. Take a break. Then repeat the procedure. You can do this exercise in sets of 5 to10, 2 to 3 times a day.Sit on an armless chair. Hold of the sides of a chair and tilt your head backwards. Close your mouth tightly after pushing your chin forward and then open your mouth as wide as you can. Do this exercise for 5-10 times in a row.This next exercise would require you to perform it everyday. Here’s how it goes- with the back of your hand, tap your neck lightly. Start increasing the speed of tapping but remain gentle with it. This does not only help your muscles relax but also allows them to get jostled a bit. This works in the same principle as with riding a horse. You don’t really move but with consistent shaking of the muscles and fats, they get agitated and in return, get exercised. These simple exercises, when done regularly could help you get rid of double chin that often does not flatter your face.Do a neck rotation. With your head upright, tilt it back and do a windmill motion with your head from one side until the circle completes. Notice that the arc of the circle when your head is tilted backwards strains the neck muscles. Do that arc and that arc only, for ten seconds. Do this three times everyday.Do compound exercises! What this means is that you preform an exercise that will work multiple muscle groups at the same time. Don’t restrict yourself to working out your biceps and triceps one by one. Instead, do a chest press which would hit chest and triceps at the same time or a pull up which hits the biceps and back all at once.
